How It Works

Today there is an alternative to sitting in a classroom for four years. It allows busy adults to earn college credit by passing equivalency examinations and “testing out” of dozens of required classes. The College Network has been working with nationally acclaimed, fully accredited universities to put together a truly unique and revolutionary degree completion program for busy adults. The College Network is one of the nation’s largest providers of degree completion programs designed to help busy adults pass end-of-course equivalency examinations. The College Network has Comprehensive Learning Modules for over seventy different college courses.

Phase 1 - "Testing-Out" with TCN Comprehensive Learning Modules

Degree completion programs through The College Network are generally divided into two phases. During Phase One, customers study our Comprehensive Learning Modules, created to prepare them to test out of prerequisites and general education courses. Customers can earn up to 82 credit hours in this manner, depending on previous course work completed and credits needed. We do a thorough academic evaluation to determine exactly what courses are needed. This phase of the program offers generous flexibility, as the learning modules and challenge exams can be completed anywhere, anytime.

Phase 2 - Online with our Partner Universities

Once the prerequisites and general education courses are complete, customers begin Phase Two by enrolling in our partner school’s online degree program. All course work is completed online, with no required campus visits or specified log-in times — all learning is flexible to meet the customers’ needs. For some programs, however, The College Network’s Comprehensive Learning Modules are built into the curriculum of our partner school’s degree program. In these cases the customer simply enrolls with the school and purchases The College Network’s learning modules at the same time.
