Human Resource Management
The Human Resource Management comprehensive learning module introduces you to the current state of knowledge and practice in human resource management. Human resource management involves the policies, practices, and systems intended to influence the behaviors and attitudes of employees to attain the effective and efficient use of human talent. It involves the areas of job analysis, recruitment and staffing, equal employment opportunity record keeping, training and development, performance appraisal and discipline, compensation and benefits management, employee services, and research. Each chapter contains study questions, and a multiple-choice practice examination to test comprehension is located at the end of the module.

Excelsior College® Examination
Excelsior College® Examinations are administered at Pearson Vue testing centers. You must register for the examination through Excelsior College prior to contacting a Pearson Vue testing center to schedule the examination.
From the Excelsior College Web site, www.excelsior.edu, click on the “Excelsior College Examinations” link. Under the EC Exams Resources & Services, select “Excelsior College Exams Registration.” You will be directed to the Excelsior College Web Site Login page. Enter your username and password. If you do not have an EC User Account, click on “Create A Free MyEC User Account Now!” and complete the required information. An EC User Account is required for all enrolled and non-enrolled Excelsior College* students in order to register for an examination.
