Nursing Concepts 1
The Nursing Concepts 1 comprehensive learning module covers basic nursing concepts and practices. Major topics covered include the following: the nursing process; health, wellness, and illness; and environmental safety, biological safety, medication safety, and psychological safety. The comprehensive learning module has an emphasis on theoretical frameworks for nursing care. Study questions are provided at the end of each unit, and a complete, multiple-choice practice examination to test comprehension is located at the end of the guide. Note: users of this comprehensive learning module should have a good working knowledge of anatomy and physiology, emotional and physical development, and microbiology.

Excelsior College® Examination
Excelsior College® Examinations are administered at Pearson Vue testing centers. You must register for the examination through Excelsior College prior to contacting a Pearson Vue testing center to schedule the examination.
From the Excelsior College Web site, www.excelsior.edu, click on the “Excelsior College Examinations” link. Under the EC Exams Resources & Services, select “Excelsior College Exams Registration.” You will be directed to the Excelsior College Web Site Login page. Enter your username and password. If you do not have an EC User Account, click on “Create A Free MyEC User Account Now!” and complete the required information. An EC User Account is required for all enrolled and non-enrolled Excelsior College* students in order to register for an examination.
