Introduction to Health
The purpose of the Introduction to Health comprehensive learning module is to provide a general overview of health and wellness within the framework of healthy lifestyle choices. It covers the topics of stress management, fitness and nutrition, substance abuse, and healthy aging. Common disease processes and various dimensions of consumer awareness relating to health care are also discussed. At the completion of this module, students will have the information needed to make lifestyle choices that will enhance the quality of their lives. Each chapter contains study questions, and a multiple-choice practice examination to test comprehension is located at the end of the module.
