An Indiana Company Providing a Solution
To the National Nursing Shortage Problem

Indianapolis, Ind. - Inside Indiana Business, Indiana's premier business news program, profiled The College Network (TCN) in an August episode. Inside Indiana Business, hosted by Gerry Dick highlighted The College Network's educational offerings for nurses. Individuals who possess advanced nursing education not only provide better patient care but also are able to attain a higher standard of living.

Bob Gallup, Chief Marketing Officer of The College Network, discussed how TCN's educational solutions provide working adults the opportunity to further their education without sacrificing their families, lives, or careers. (click here to view the video)

Gallup specifically discussed TCN's strategy and offerings to help address the nursing profession shortage. With educational partners Indiana State University, Regis University, and its alliance with the National League for Nursing, TCN provides quality educational materials for nursing professionals who aspire to earn their Registered Nurse (RN) license and advanced degrees.

All nursing professionals, including License Practical Nurses (LPN/LVNs), can begin immediately on their college level course work through TCN's study guides. After studying TCN's products, students have the opportunity to pass proficiency exams administered by CLEP, Dantes, or Excelsior College. College credit earned through the test-out process is transferred into one of TCN's partner universities where the individual finishes their degree online.

Nurses who graduate with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing are required to sit for the NCLEX®-RN exam. To help nurses pass the NCLEX®-RN exam, TCN developed a comprehensive preparation package in consultation with the National League for Nursing (NLN). TCN's Rx for NCLEX® Success is backed by a Success Guarantee. If a customer is unable to pass their NCLEX®-RN exam after two attempts, TCN will pay for a local tutor and all subsequent testing fees until the customer passes the exam.
