Indianapolis, Ind. - The College Network is pleased to announce that it has signed an exclusive educational partnership agreement with The George Washington University to promote the university's Bachelor of Science in Health Science - Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Management through its distance education initiatives.
The George Washington University Medical Center is working exclusively with The College Network to further promote and implement their distance EMS Management bachelor's degree program for working adults. All general education courses can be completed through a combination of test-out credits and transfer credits from accredited schools. Students prepare for test-out examinations (CLEP and DANTES) using The College Network's comprehensive learning modules.
The George Washington University is the recognized leader in providing the Bachelor of Science in Health Services - EMS Management. Within the larger mission of the university, the vision of The George Washington University Medical Center is to be a preeminent academic health institution, dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our local community, our country and beyond.
The George Washington University and The College Network will offer these programs to adult learners working full time and those individuals not able to attend traditional on-campus courses. A collaborative vision is shared by both organizations to make world-class education accessible and affordable for working adults.
"Distance learning enables busy adults to work on their degree at their own pace and in their own environment," said Dr. Jean E. Johnson, Senior Associate Dean for Health Sciences Programs. "This is one way that busy working adults can advance their careers through education while continuing to work and support their families."
The College Network, which has partnerships with other well-known, fully-accredited universities like Cornell University, Boston University, University of Southern California, Regis University, Bellevue University, Indiana State University, The University of North Dakota, and Salve Regina University, has given more than 95,000 adult learners the opportunity to continue their education with little interruption to their careers and family lives.
"The College Network is proud to be working with The George Washington University to promote and deliver these exciting educational opportunities for working adults," said Gary Eyler, CEO of The College Network. "With over 15 years experience in nursing education, the EMS Management program represents a natural progression for our company.
