Indianapolis, Ind. – The College Network™ is now promoting Boston University’s Center for Professional Education’s online Certificate in Professional Investigation. This eighteen-week program is designed to provide individuals with an education based on the fundamentals of professional investigation including research, interviewing and surveillance. Courses are taught by Boston University instructors who are also experts in the field of investigation. Participants will be awarded a certificate from Boston University upon successful completion of the program.
“We are pleased that we are now able to make this very innovative and successful on-campus program available online to students from around the country,” said Ruth Ann Murray, Director of the Boston University Center for Professional Education.
The skills learned in the professional investigation certificate program apply whether an individual is looking to change careers or simply enhance his or her credentials. Professional investigation is used in a variety of industries, including law enforcement, legal, insurance, collections, criminal justice, journalism and security. The demand for these types of professionals is expected to grow as many fields of employment in today’s economy downsize. In fact, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that job growth for this sector might increase as much as 18 percent through 2016.
“We are proud to work with Boston University’s Center for Professional Education to promote their online Certificate in Professional Investigation program,” said Gary Eyler, chairman and CEO of The College Network. “We see this as a great educational opportunity to help many professionals throughout the country either jumpstart or further their careers.”
