How is The College Network affiliated with the colleges and universities that make up the "Partners in Education"?
We are separate entities. The College Network offers study guide materials to help adult learners complete their general education and elective courses (up to 91 credit hours) using end of course proficiency exams (CLEP or Dantes). They can then transfer those challenge exam scores into one of our partnership universities to gain college credit.

Will previously earned college credits transfer to this program?
Yes! Credit hours from classes in which you earned a passing grade, completed at any accredited college or university, may be applied to your college degree program. Previous college attendance is not a requirement.

What is “proficiency testing”?
It’s not always necessary to attend classes and complete homework assignments. Proficiency testing, testing out or challenging an exam allows you to pass a series of tests that demonstrate your knowledge and proficiency.
Regardless of what it is called, the fact remains that you can get college credit at your own pace, just by passing the exams. When you pass the test and transfer those credits to one of our "Partners in Education", you receive credit for that course. The College Network has years of experience helping thousands of people successfully challenge college exams. Our focus is on YOUR success.

Can I afford the program?
This program is very affordable! Your Program Advisor can advise you of the payment arrangement that most suits your needs. Most of our customers realize savings of 65% to 80% versus a traditional, campus-based college degree. For each study guide needed, you will pay an educational materials fee to The College Network for your study materials and academic support. Examination fees, enrollment fees, and graduation fees are additional and paid directly to the school.
If you so desire, payment may be made by utilizing MasterCard®, Visa®, Discover® or American Express®. And we offer financing programs that suit every budget. Ask your Advisor for details.
**ALL adult candidates are pre-approved for our low-interest financing for fees paid to The College Network! **
